During the process of selling your home, there are some uncertainties that can cause delays.
The most common of these is the buyer’s Home and Termite/Pest inspections.
Most of the time, these inspections identify some repairs that the seller did not realize may be needed. Sometimes the buyer requests that repairs be completed by the seller or attempts to negotiate a price adjustment.
While these are legitimate concerns, they can also be delays.
Here’s a suggestion that may help save time.
How about the seller having these inspections done prior to listing the home for sale?
This could head off any issues and allow the seller to complete repairs prior to buyers making offers.
Doing so could leave the prospective buyer with more confidence in the home and the seller receiving a better price.
