HUD Home Network LLC was founded in June 1994 by Jason & Paula Mitchell for the sole purpose of assisting government agencies primarily U.S. Department of Housing & urban Development to carry out its mission to create strong ,sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all free from discrimination. Since our establishment we have been involved in the disposition of the real estate owned properties of U.S. Department of HUD in several capacities performing of various tasks as a General Services Administration contracting team member, subcontractor or working closely with the field office in the state of Alabama. Throughout this time, we have been involved in the HUD home disposition programs exclusively. Providing Transaction Specialist and Due Diligence Support Services as Asset Managers , Real Estate Brokerage Firm, 203k Consultants, and Broad Listing Brokers. HHN have been involved in the management, marketing and sale of thousands of HUD REO Homes in ten states. We have received much of our experience and training in these capacities from the Birmingham AL. Field Office staff, Atlanta Homeownership Center, and since 1999 the Management and Marketing firms of Best Assets- Citiwest JV, Hooks Van Holm, Inc. , Cityside Management corporation and KM Minemier & Associates LLC
Over the past Twenty three years, our company has been provided the training seminars for real estate professionals and mortgage loan officers about the “Successful Selling of HUD Owned Properties and Origination of FHA Loans on these homes. Our classes is a (3) three hour course which real estate professionals can receive continuing education credit from the Real Estate Commission for participating in this seminar. Attendance obtained detail information such as how to determine the status of a property before, during and after it is listed for sale, the electronic bidding procedures and the instructions required for documentation, the as- is policy, financing of HUD homes, down payment assistant programs, bidding statistics, bidding results, earnest money requirements, lender preapproval letter requirements, completing the HUD 9548 Sales Contract and other required addendums to the contract, what is a HUD home and what is the mission of the FHA/HUD program, Good Neighbor Program, appraisal details, home inspection requirements ,utility activation requirement, lender requirements, Broker Certification.
Our classes give a history of HUD/FHA Programs . The United States government agency created in part by the National Housing Act of 1934. The FHA set standards for construction and underwriting and insures loans made by banks and other private lenders for home building . The goals of this organization are to improve housing standards and conditions, provide an adequate home financing system though insurance of mortgage loans , and stabilize the mortgage market.
