FLOOD INSURANCE AND WIND DAMAGE AND OTHER TYPES OF PROPERTY INSURANCE
I am a Real Estate Broker in Middle Tennessee – not an insurance agent – nor an expert on property insurance. But I would like to provide some ‘go to’ websites that offer information that you may find helpful. Your local insurance agency would be a good advisor for your individual property. You may want to become more informed before a meeting with them.
There is flooding in all states. You may not think you need flood insurance, if you do not live next to the ocean or a river, but that is not true in a majority of cases. Water that finds itself in the interior structure of your property – is not considered all the same. You can buy flood insurance if your property is paid for. There is different coverage as a principle residence and for a second home.
