Latest statistics in Chicago and surrounding suburbs, indicate inventory is rising, prices are being reduced and sales are slowing.  All that being said, some homes still get multiple offers and fly off the market.  Why is that?  Well the answer is that the home is priced appropriately,  or it can be bargained priced to produce interest.  The home is either probably very well maintained, or needs everything...nothing in the middle.  Finally, as always the location is important.  Good school districts, good transportation options and convenient shopping areas all add to the location aspect.

Thre should be a monthly review of asking price, condition, marketing efforts and overall maintenance to review any possible changes.  Then your home will sell!
