How is the fall market?  Interesting question.  As ever, the answer is...it depends.  for sure homes must be priced correctly when they go on the market.  this isnt the time for "testing" the market with a higher than normal price. 

The home should be in the best possible condition when being shown.  Buyers are quick to get cold feet now after all the bad publicity about the economy, inflation, and talks of recession.  Put your best foot forward at the outset.

With the holidays fast approaching it is suggested that any seasonal decorations be welcoming and modest.  This isnt the time to overdo.  Make the outside welcoming and inviting with some fall flowers, or a pretty wreath.

Keep the leaves picked up and keep cutting the grass, the front of the house should never look shaggy.

If you have a fireplace and the weather is appropriate, light it.  almost every buyer is attracted to the beauty and warmth it provides.  

Just remember buyers who are out there now usually have a need to buy a home sooner rather than later.  Dont let them slip away!
