Where to turn?

Buyers and sellers today are receiving so much conflicting information.  They hear the market is slowing, and yet some homes have tons of showings and multiple offers.  Buyers may think when they hear of a slowing market that now is the time to lowball.  Sellers think that the offer prices will still be as high as they were in the spring.

Are they both worng, or both right?  It depends.....

A home in the mid range price of the neighborhood it is in should always gain a lot of showings.  If the home is in great condition, able to pass FHA standards, then there should be some offers.  If a home is just sitting without any showings then sellers shoulkd start to consider a price drop sooner rather than later.  there is nothing worse than chasing a falling market all the way down.

If buyers find the home they have ben looking for, they should forget all the news about large inventroy andfalling prices, it doesnt apply to every home and every neighborhood.  Buyer should make their best offer.

Seldom, if ever, is there a time in real estate when everything is in balance, great interest rates, lots of qualified buyers and lots of good homes on the market.  And yet, we still manage to buy and sell homes each and every year
