When marketing a home for sale, it is important to focus on creating a welcoming exterior.  Many times buyers will drive past a home before deciding whether to view it.  Be sure to have the exterior look well maintained to advertise your home to its fullest potential.  Trim shrubs, keep grass cut, and always pick up any litter or childrens toys from the front.

Plant flowers, put out pots of flowers and hang a season wreath on the door.  Make sure all landcape lighting is working.  Adjust the 4 sale sign for maximum visibility, and make certain that your front door is clean.  A fresh coat of paint is always a plus.  

Clean sparkling windows are a wonderful thing for buyers to see.  Drive past your home and look at it with fresh eyes.  Is there anything jarring, or does anything draw your attention in a negative way?  If so attend to that issue right away.  Just a bit of attention before marketing will bring you a better offer
