As we approach the end of 2020, I would like to join into the collective, Whew!

Looking toward next year, lets ask ourselves, “How can we have a better year than last year”?

Should we have written goals? Great question.  

The answer is; If you want to give yourself the best chance to accomplish your goals, they should be written and where you can see them every day.

This will keep the target in sight both consciously and sub-consciously.

When you do this, you will suddenly realize that you are moving toward your objective without even thinking about it.

Let us apply this to home ownership.

In order to achieve the goal, we will need to identify the steps to reach the goal.

It may look like this:

Objective… Home Ownership by December 31, 2021.

Steps 1. Check my credit.

           2. Save for a down payment if needed.

           3. Pre-approve for a Home loan.

          4. Identify my target home by price, neighborhood, and size.

These are just a few suggestions.

Although each of us has our own circumstances, the general path is much the same.

The time to prepare is before you want to act.

When the way is clear, the journey is much more pleasant.
