3 ways to have a mudroom with limited space

September 02, 2020

If the change of seasons has you longing for a mudroom, carve out space in an under-used corner or hallway, and dedicate it to your outdoor gear. There are easy storage pieces that prove you don't need a mudroom.

1) Add a storage bench with wall hooks hanging above it! This is such an easy way to store outdoor belongings without it being in the open! The wall hooks are perfect for bookbags, jackets, etc!

2) Add a console table with baskets for narrow entryways! This is a great space saver with the maximum amount of storage if you get catch-all baskets!

3) In a formal foyer, disguise your mudroom storage with a dresser designated to outdoor essentials, and bring in a side-by-side coat rack for the rest.  This is the perfect way to keep your entry dressy yet, functional!
