As everyone already knows, this outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has both our citizens and our markets shaken to the core.

If you start to watch the Industry news letters and articles, you will find that many lenders are tightening restrictions and have heightened underwriting when it comes to making home loans.

With this in mind, please prepare to have to jump through hoops that you probably believe to be overkill.

Unfortunately, our new market condition and investor anxieties will likely be around for a good long while.

If you are planning on buying a home in the next 6-12 months, it may be best to save more money for a down payment, (up to 20%) and do your best to keep your credit in good standing. 

Here is hoping that the world returns to normal soon and we all get back to a peaceful and worry-free existence.
