10 Tips for Buyers and Sellers

In this blog,  I wanted to give 10 tips that can be used to help the buying and selling process.

 

For Sellers

1.  Clear Clutter- Tackle one room at a time. Separate into keep, donate, toss

2.  Get Packing - Start packing the things you want to keep but won't use for a while

3.  Research Local Market - Know what homes are selling for in the neighborhood

4.  Repair and improve - Boost your curb appeal by doing minor repairs and improvements.

5.  Be Realistic - Have realistic expectations for your home sale.

 

For Buyers

1.  Work on good credit - check your credit report at annualcreditreport.com for free.

2.  Get pre-approved - Meet with a mortgage company to review your current financial situation

3.  Establish budget - This helps you focus on the great homes in your price range.

4.  Make a list - Make a list of you homes must haves and deal breakers.

5.  Think about resale - keep in mind that you may need to sell it one day. 

 

These tips should be considered when buying or selling a home.  They will help you be prepared as you work through the process
