TIPS TO SAVE YOU MONEY AS A NEW HOMEOWNER
1. Vacuum dryer lint pipe
- lint is a fire hazard
- Clean at least once a year
- Make sure the vent flap is open when operating the dryer
2. Change the air filter
- Dirty filters raise your energy bill
- change at least every 60 days
3. Clean your gutters
- repairing damage can be costly
- faulty gutter drainage can cause foundation damage
4. Winterize Plumbing
- Burst pipes can be very costly, wrap pipes with foam insulation or heat tape
