FALL MEANS FALLING LEAVES!

It is hard to believe that Fall is here.  Fall means falling leaves.  Before the leaves fall, they are a burst of beautiful red and gold color.

But, when they fall, they have to end up somewhere.  In yards, in streets, in parking lots, and on the roof of your home.  From there they slide down into your rain gutter.  Once there they can accumulate with bits of twigs and form a mass.  This mass can clog your gutter and downspout.  That causes water to back up against shingles and in some cases cause a roof leak.

Make sure you clean your gutters as the leaves fall.  You can quit once the last leaves fall.  To prevent having to do this each year there are gutter screens available from a number of companies.  That is an option to consider.

So enjoy the beauty of fall and keep those gutters clean.
