When you are selling a home, the more you know the better  you do.  Realtors can be a great source of knowledge for you, and knowledge is power.

At the beginning of buying or selling, you need to understand the process.  It is best that you have a full information before you jump in.

Sellers need to understand the need for flexibility.  While showing requests can be at  inconvenient times, it is best to try and honor the request.  The sellers should understand that they should not be there, and if this is inconvenient, they can sit in their car.

Also, sellers need to hear that they may receive negative feedback.  They need to understand that they need to hear what buyers are saying, and that all houses are not right for all buyers.  Some feedback is constructive, and should be acted on. 

Firstimpressions are important.  Always make sure you declutter, remove very personal items, and keep your home clean and tidy. Make your home less personal by removing family pictures, collections and items that you are not using.

Realtors can be a great source of information.  They can help you make your home the most saleable it can be, and can help you obtain the best price from the best qualified buyer.
