Buying a HUD Property Series June 2024

Summer is a great time to buy a HUD home. It is easier to see the outside of the home and observe the condition on a warm sunny day. Check with the listing agent or your buyer agent if you have questions about the condition.

You can also look at the HUD website HUDHomeStore.gov. There you can access the Property Condition Report (PCR) to see what condition the home is reported to be in. This will give you an overview of what was found in the initial inspection. A must is a physical inspection of the home.
