Are You Using Videos? If Not You're Missing Out

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. However a video can be worth a thousand pictures. This is because videos can captivate the eyes and thoughts of your audience. A video is useful not only to advertise your listings but also you as an agent. Of course, the most common media to showcase your videos would be on some social media platform. So it might be said that responsible use of social media as a real estate agent is a necessary part of your marketing strategy. Granted, social media platforms can easily be misused. However finding a balance between advertising your skills as an agent or your listings and helping people to feel a personal connection to you can be an extremely powerful way to make others aware of your place in your real estate market. When people see a video, it has a greater and lasting impression. People feel more engaged now with videos, largely due to the quality that videos can be presented in as compared to times past. In many cases, a video puts your audience right there with you at the listing location or at your favorite place to get coffee. Again, be smart in the use of your videos. Avoid anything that could be offensive, too personal, or something that might be considered a violation of real estate law.
