Ready to put a home on the market?

Are you getting ready to put a property on the market? If so, a little bit of planning time now, will pay dividends this spring.
Start by looking at the exterior with fresh eyes. Has winter made your home look dreary? Get prepared to be out there sweeping up blown leaves, tidying up the entrance way, and hanging a seasonal wreath. Paint the front door! first impressions by a buyer can be lasting, you need to make them want to come in and see the wonderful things awaiting them inside. Let the buyers feel they are going to see a well cared for home once inside.
Turn on the interior lights, replace any burned out bulbs, and if there is a spot that looks dim, change the wattage.
Be alert for any stale or unpleasant odors in the home. Running ceiling fans can help, along with a room freshener, no overwhelming scents though!!
