The Challenge

Parkvue Realty was charged with the task of properly marketing The Historic Wrigley Mansion in Chicago, IL. The challenge was determining value and creating a strategic marketing plan to attract the right buyer. Take a look inside. www.TheWrigleyMansion.com

The Solution

It’s not every day you have the opportunity to list a big-ticket property, let alone a historic landmark. The Wrigley Mansion, a 15,000 square-foot, nine-bedroom, six-plus-bathroom home, was the longtime home of the Wrigley family, chewing gum tycoons and former owners of Wrigley Field and the Cubs and listed for $7.15M

Our marketing strategy has been unique; we pulled out all the big guns and incorporated public relations, print advertising, direct mail pieces, social media and a variety of other mass communication initiatives. Within two weeks our efforts resulted in coverage on 2 major news stations, articles in major news papers, including the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times, over 50 written online articles and over 100,000 website views from the national and international buyer pool. Landing this listing also created buzz that went well beyond typical marketing based on all the shares and likes we got on social media.

In addition to our marketing efforts, we contacted high net worth individuals and groups seeking to invest in historic landmarks.

We are targeting prospective uses such as, condos, office/headquarters, private school, retail like restoration hardware, restaurant/banquet, museum/art gallery, and extended stay hotel for celebs/government/athletes/executives.

UPDATE: The Wrigley Mansion was sold in 2018 for $4.65M. It was a complete honor to have had the opportunity to sell this iconic mansion and we look forward to what the future holds for this local Chicago treasure.
