DocuSign Offers with HUD

Once a Realtor knows that they have a Verbally Accepted Offer, based upon the information that they uploaded, they just assume that the DocuSign offer will be coming their way within the hour.

First, the Selling Agent must upload the necessary documents that HUD requests into Hudhomestore.com, including the Bank Preapproval Letter or Verification of Funds Letter, and a copy of the Earnest Money Deposit, which is a Cashier’s Check or Money Order, made out to the Listing Office.  They also must deliver the Earnest Money Deposit Check to the Listing Agents office.

Once all of that is uploaded, and HUD verifies and approved the information, only then will the DocuSign Document be initiated.   It is important to note, that all the information that the Selling Agent uploaded must be double verified, because this is the information that will be used for the DocuSign Offer.

This DocuSign offer must be completed within a 24-hour period or you risk the entire offer being cancelled.

The offer first goes to the Selling Broker for signatures, then to the Purchaser (s), and then to the Title Company, also known as the Closing Company.  Once it is signed by all 3, the offer will go back to HUD and be finalized.  This entire process can take 3 to 7 days, so be patient, and accurate!
