Why are some Realtors reluctant to sell Hud Homes?

It has come to my attention that some Realtors are afraid to sell HUD Homes, because they don’t understand how the process works, and cannot answer the clients questions, so they refer these buyers out to other Realtors.  These properties should not strike fear in a Realtor.  They are fairly simple, and very straight forward. The first step is to call your local HUD agent, and sign up for a class with them. Many will do personal classes and make themselves available to help you.  Next, log into HUDHOMESTORE.COM and look around. Sign yourself up so that you can submit offers.  Go to the Help tab and read…. read…read…. there is so much helpful information there.  Also, log into your County, and look at the properties online.  Get familiar with the layout, the tabs, and the entire setup. Once you break this down, into smaller pieces, it is so much easier to work with.  As Realtors, we are always learning, and things are always changing.  We just must learn to adjust!
