When you walk in and your client asks what is that "smell"?

Staging has a new kind of style.
When you walk in - this is your happy place. Something is tantilizing your senses and smells supernaturally delicious! Fall is the perfect time to bake an egg custard pie an hour before the showing. It tastes like it smells. Pre cut the pie. Leave saucers with forks. Set out disposable cups, ice with tongs, and a drink or coffee. So nice.
This is hospitality. You are running from place to place, keeping up with the time, and there it is. Your slow down time, talk about what is next on the agenda in front of a plate. You will want to taste the pie whether you like it or not.
Pine also leaves a pleasant fresh smell if used 2 hours before the showing. Lemon is a good natural cleanser and freshens the air. Peel it and leave the rind in a bowl. No one will think you are hiding something.
Happy Thanksgiving. Yes, have a thankful attitude with your clients. Be the thermometer. Remember to try to guide the atmosphere concerning your clients. It will help in this stressful showing and buying time.
