"Hold As A Back-Up"

I call the "Hold As A Back-Up" the second chance button. I encourage agents to submit all offers, even if the offer is not list price. As days on market increase, and the property becomes "aged", the buyer/buyer's agent may receive an email from HUD inquiring if buyer(s) still has an interest in the property at the input price. A second reason to submit all offers is that sometimes contracts fall through, another opportunity for the purchaser to receive an email from HUD. In these cases, good things come to those buyers whose offers are in the HUD system.
