Homeownership becoming more elusive for many struggling with sky-high rent
Skyrocketing rents have hit cities in every corner of the country. Real estate firm Redfin is reporting the median asking rent is above $2,000 a month for the first time ever.
A new report from Redfin shows listed rents for available apartments nationwide rose 15% from a year ago.
