Winter. A good time to increase curb appeal
January 13, 2020
The winter months tend to slow both buyer interest and sales in our SE Tennessee area. Home owners can increase buyer interest in area properties by taking action to enhance curb appeal.
Sellers often overlook quick and easy steps to utilize a property's exterior assetes, i.e. shrubs and trees. If there are missing shrubs, replace them. Inspect trees for broken limbs. Prune all broken limbs. Both shrubs and trees should convey to prospective buyers that the homeowner shows interest in proper plant maintenance.
If a buyer feels that homeowners have an exterior maintenance program, then the owner will also have a good interior maintenance program. This could increase buyer interest in a home, and a quick sale.
